Workplace reservation systems have become a key tool for companies as they implement their back to work strategies. As discussed in our previous blog, back to work with a seamless reservation system, many organizations have turned to technology solutions like IBM TRIRIGA's Reserve app (TRIRIGA Reserve) to ensure that employees are able to book workspaces upon returning to the office. Using their mobile devices, employees can access TRIRIGA Reserve on-the-go, easily review available spaces, and reserve hot desks or meeting rooms ahead of time. With every reservation, the employee will receive a confirmation email with an attachment to add the reservation to their Microsoft Outlook calendar.
In preparing the office space for a hybrid workplace model, companies will also need to reconsider their office space usage, as it may look different compared to pre-Covid times. Post-pandemic, employees may only come into the office two to three times a day for team collaboration, training or meeting with clients. In these cases, office spaces may shift from the traditional assigned seating plan to a hoteling model where all spaces like meeting rooms and workstations are available for anyone to reserve and work at. On Friday, June 17th, 2022, our Tjene team joined One Million Trees Mississauga for our fourth tree planting event. Each year we are excited to have the opportunity to help plant additional trees within the City of Mississauga parks. As we had planted 150 trees last year, we were happy to have planted an additional 60 trees this year at Victory Park, which brings us to a total of 528 planted trees to date!
Our Tjene team joins Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital's annual Capes for Kids Fundraiser for our 4th year in a row. Holland Bloorview is Canada's largest pediatric rehabilitation hospital in Toronto and we are grateful to have had the opportunity to come together as a team to support a Toronto-based hospital that has also personally impacted some Tjene's family members.
On Saturday, October 23rd, the Tjene team participated in Village Eulogia's annual fundraising event, "Better Together," to support the staff and families within the Village Eulogia community. Each year, Village Eulogia organizes one main fundraising event to support their ongoing and new programs for their families. We have had the opportunity to partner with this organization since 2017 (checkout our 2019 fundraising event at the Toronto Zoo!), and are happy to gather as a team to continue to support our local charities within Toronto.
